Two-Day Arts Workshop: Stop Gaza Children’s Killing

KARACHI: (Chief Reporter) A two-day fine arts workshop titled Stop the Killing of Children in Gaza was organized on December 22 and 23 at Karachi Arts Council with the support of Palestine Foundation Pakistan and Arts Council Pakistan.
The two-day workshop was attended by senior female artist Wahidat, including students from various universities and fine arts institutes of Karachi.
On the first day of the workshop, all participants showcased their art and created images and designs related to the massacre of innocent children in Gaza using various skills attributed to fine arts including digital design, calligraphy, watercolor paint, canvas and other skills. Did in the opening ceremony of the two-day workshop, Mohammad Zeeshan, in-charge of Fine Arts Department of Arts Council, Wajid Ali, teacher of Arts Department of Gujarat University, senior artist Manoor Ali, Kazim Shagri and Abdul Wahab Mirza, former teacher of University of Karachi Owais, Asghar Ali artist. , Humira Baig and others participated and guided the students.
On the second day of the workshop, on December 23, an exhibition of artists’ creations was held at the Arts Council, in which hundreds of citizens participated and witnessed the depiction of the ongoing Zionist atrocities in Gaza in the images created by the artists.
In the closing ceremony of the workshop, following members’ addressed the occasion Palestine Foundation Secretary General Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam, former member of Sindh Assembly Mahfuz Yar Khan, MQM Pakistan, Jamiat Ulema Islam leader Allama Aqeel Anjum, Muslim League-N leader Pir Azhar Ali Hamdani, Muslim League-Q Sadiq Sheikh, leader of Syed Musharraf, Kashmir leader Bashir Saddari, human rights leader Jamshed Hussain, Christian community leader Emanuel, Hindu community leader Manhooch Chauhan, Sikh Baradi leader Maghan Singh, famous Naqat Khawan Chishti Muaz Nizami.
