Protest Against Bol News Layoffs, Unpaid Dues

KARACHI (PR) Organized by the Crime Reporters Association, a protest was held outside Bol News Karachi Head Office against forced layoffs, non-payment of salaries and dues, in which Karachi Press Club, Karachi Union of Journalists Dastur, Barna along with Apart from all the groups, all journalistic organizations including Pakistan Association of Press Photographers (PAP), Association of Camera Journalists (ACJ), Sindh Parliamentary Reporters Association participated.

A large number of journalists participated in the protest, the protestors carried protest banners and placards in their hands, while the protestors who participated in the protest continued to raise slogans against the administration, CEO Sameer Chishti, Ahsan, Amir Zia and Mustafa Hussain.

On this occasion, former president of Karachi Press Club and member of ad hoc committee Imtiaz Khan Faran, president of Karachi Press Club Saeed Sarbazi, secretary Shoaib Ahmed, secretary of PFUJ AH Khanzada, assistant secretary Aamir Latif, secretary of KJ Dastur Nimat Khan.

Senior crime reporter and ex-secretary Arman Sabar and leaders of other journalism organizations including Arif Khan also spoke. Crime Reporters Association General Secretary Rehan Khan Chishti addressed the protestors and said that we are here to get the dues of our journalist brothers.
