Ahmed Shah Inaugurates Muse Exhibition

KARACHI: Caretaker Minister for Information, Minority Affairs, Social Protection, and President of Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi, Ahmad Shah, inaugurated the ‘Muse of Indus’ exhibition, showcasing watercolor masterpieces by Moazzam Ali. The exhibition, held at the Clifton art gallery, features the captivating culture of Sindhi women, especially those from “Thar,” skillfully captured on canvas through the medium of watercolor. Ahmad Shah praised Moazzam Ali’s ability to depict the enchanting and beautiful culture, emphasizing the artist’s passion for global exploration. He highlighted the artist’s global acclaim and acknowledged his focus on portraying the women of Thar and Sindh. Moazzam Ali’s exhibition provides a visual journey into the cultural tapestry of Sindh, with a notable emphasis on the portrayal of women characterized by nobility and beauty. Ahmad Shah commended the effective use of colors by the artist to convey emotions. The exhibition, featuring twenty-four unique artworks, is scheduled to run until January 15, 2024, with displays held in cities like Karachi and Lahore.
