Administrative Meeting Held at Manghopir Town to Strengthen Governance and Development
An important administrative meeting was held at the Town Municipal Corporation Manghopir to further strengthen the local government system, improve administrative performance, accelerate development projects, and enhance the quality of public services.
The meeting was chaired by Ahmed Yar, Municipal Commissioner Manghopir, and attended by senior officers of various departments.
Senior Town Officials Attend Key Administrative Session
The meeting was attended by Vice Chairman Manghopir Rana Muhammad Arif, Superintendent Engineer Zulfiqar Jatoi, Fayaz Muhammad Channa (Accounts Officer), Qadeer Ahmed (Director HRM), Mazhar Shah (A&B and R Department), Saleem Darbar (Director Parks), Akbar Bhamro (Director Taxation), Ghaffar Jatoi (Director Road Cutting), Fahad Kake Photo (A&M and I Department), Suriya Abid Rehmani (Director Land), Director Information Asad Siddiqui, Sub Engineer Tariq, Deputy Director Sanitation Liaquat Subo, Director Law Aamir, Director Social Welfare Aslam Brohi, along with other concerned town officers.
Review of Development Projects and Public Services
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on ongoing development projects in Manghopir Town, including road construction, maintenance of parks, sanitation and cleanliness, financial management, and the redressal of public complaints.
Special emphasis was laid on ensuring that all officers and staff perform their duties with honesty, discipline, and professionalism.
Action Plan Formulated for Effective Implementation
A clear and comprehensive action plan was formulated during the meeting, under which all departments were directed to work in close coordination, ensure effective monitoring of development activities, and complete projects within the stipulated time frame.
It was reaffirmed that Manghopir Town will be developed as an exemplary and model town of Karachi, with transparency and public service as top priorities.
Municipal Commissioner Emphasizes Performance Improvement
Addressing the meeting, Municipal Commissioner Ahmed Yar stated that the overall performance of town officers is satisfactory; however, there remains room for further improvement.
He emphasized that with increased seriousness and inter-departmental cooperation, Manghopir Town can achieve a prominent position in terms of development and governance.
Commitment to Cleanliness, Transparency, and Public Welfare
The Municipal Commissioner expressed his desire that Manghopir Town be counted among the best towns of Karachi in terms of cleanliness, development works, administrative management, and public facilities.
He asserted that there will be no compromise on the quality of work, transparency, and the prompt resolution of public issues.
Action Plan to Be Implemented in Letter and Spirit
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was reiterated that the agreed-upon action plan will be implemented in letter and spirit, and all available resources will be utilized for the improvement, beautification, and facilitation of the residents of Manghopir Town.
