Campaign against Aerial Firing

A campaign against aerial firing has been initiated in all police stations of District Central on the instructions of the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP). Messages to prevent aerial firing have been displayed on police mobiles, streets, highways, and squares to raise public awareness about the hazards of such practices.
Various communication channels, including panaflex, banners, and notices, have been utilized to convey the message that aerial firing is a criminal offense. The campaign emphasizes that those engaging in aerial firing can face charges of attempted murder, punishable by 10 years of imprisonment and a fine.
In addition to these measures, announcements to discourage aerial firing have been made in mosques across the respective areas covered by the police stations. The SSP of District Central emphasized that aerial firing is not only irresponsible but also a criminal act. The bullets from aerial firing descend at a high speed, posing a severe threat to anyone in the vicinity, including pedestrians, women, and children.
The public has been urged to assist in identifying individuals involved in aerial firing. Strict orders have been issued to all police officers to promptly arrest those engaged in such dangerous activities. This campaign underscores the commitment of law enforcement to ensuring public safety and preventing the harmful consequences of aerial firing.
