Election Candidates Face Threats

The law enforcement agencies should take immediate steps to prevent any major incident before it happens. There are no elections in Karachi. There is an atmosphere of fear everywhere.

KARACHI: President of Pakistan Sunni Tehreek Sarwat Ijaz Qadri in a statement said that candidates are being targeted in terrorist incidents ahead of the elections. Evil elements are creating such a situation in the country and preventing the constitutional process from being completed. The caretaker government should immediately issue orders to the security agencies to be on high alert. Before the elections, there are shootings at rallies, political workers are being targeted and killed, and candidates are being made to do all this by those who are afraid of failing in the elections. They don’t want elections. Law enforcement agencies should take immediate steps to prevent a major incident before it happens. If the situation deteriorates in Karachi, it affects the entire country. The concerned departments should immediately issue instructions to all political and religious parties and independent candidates to arrange all their schedules in consultation with the administration. Sarwat Ijaz Qadri further said that elections are not visible in Karachi as well. There is an atmosphere of fear everywhere. Everywhere there is a discussion about whether elections will be held or not. It seems as if a big conspiracy is being hatched by creating such a situation in the country. Currently, the country is in a state of instability. The country’s survival and security are also threatened at this time. We all have to think together. For the supremacy of law, for stability in the country, for the security of the country, we all have to play an important role. It is very important to bring evil elements and conspirators under the purview of law. Establishing a system of punishment and reward is also very important at this time.
