Chief Reporter: On 2023-12-13, an incident of abduction of 3 children took place in the village of Badhu Pulari in the limits of Check Post Naseem Nagar.

SSP Hyderabad Amjad Ahmad Shaikh formed a team comprising SHO Naseem Nagar and SHO Hussainabad under the leadership of ASP Rana Muhammad Dilawar Sahib who traced the incident of kidnapping in a very short time and not only the kidnappers but also the hostages. The children were also rescued safely.

According to the details, a woman named Zainab alias Zara Chandio, who was coming to teach children in the village Badhu Pulari for the past twelve months, after establishing the trust of the local residents, took the opportunity to kidnap 3 young children named Alisha son of Imam Din. Ulmani, Bushra son of Imam Din Ulmani and Hasnain son of Nizamuddin Ulmani were kidnapped.

Naseem Nagar Police has registered a case of this incident under Section 364-A of the Pakistan Penal Code under Crime No. 380/2023 and traced the incident with the help of CCTV footage and other resources. Zainab alias Zara Chandio along with Zaheer Abbas Leghari, Zahra Sain Leghari and Nader Ali Leghari were arrested.

The three abducted children were safely recovered by the police on the identification of the arrested accused.

As a result of the initial investigation, Zaheer Abbas Leghari, the mastermind of the kidnapper gang, was revealed, who planned the incident and carried out the kidnapping along with the accused Zainab alias Zara Chandio and other accomplices.

According to the statement of the abductors, they abducted the children in exchange for a relationship dispute, while the accused have been involved in kidnapping cases before and have a criminal record.

Further investigation is going on with the arrested accused.
