(ICAO) USAP CMA Security Audit Team visits Pakistan

Four-member (IQ) ICAO Security Audit Team Arrives at CAA Headquarters and Meets DG and Deputy DG Regulatory.
The (IQ) team briefed the DG and Deputy DG about the completed audit of the security systems of the Pakistan aviation industry.

Team leader Mr. Oscar Rubio Anibal congratulated DGCAA on the enactment of CAA Act 2023 and the resultant remarkable performance of the security sector.

Pakistan not only easily achieved the new (IQ) benchmarks / standards 2023, but also came very close to achieving the (IQ) 2030 goals / objectives.

Basically, the audit team reviewed the Civil Aviation Security Directorate for five days.

Over the next four days, observations were made regarding the implementation of the protocols in the documents.

Also examined all aviation security areas of JIAP, including airports, ASF, airlines (domestic and international).

A detailed audit of the procedures of cargo companies, ground handling companies, catering companies, etc. was carried out on Jinnah International.

The (IQ) security team visited the passport office during the audit and after the briefing seemed satisfied and impressed with the procedures.

The (IQ) team also interacted with the FIA immigration staff and examined their working procedures.

The current full security audit was the first in-site full-scale audit since the 2019 partial audit.

The (IQ) security audit team thanked the CAA authorities for the traditional Pakistani hospitality.

DGCAA presented mementos to the dignitaries and sent them off with best wishes.
