Discussion regarding security measures during PSL matches to be held in Karachi.

An integrated contingency plan will be put in place for the security of PSL.

IG Sindh Rifat Mukhtar Raja met PCB Chairman Zaka Ashraf at the Central Police Office Karachi and discussed the security measures and other necessary issues during the 9th season of PSL starting from February 17, 2024, as well as various other matches to be held at the National Stadium in Karachi under the PCB.On the occasion, IG Sindh said that foolproof security arrangements will be ensured during the PSL and a contingency plan will also be prepared in this regard.

IG Sindh said that Sindh Police has always taken security measures in every important event to the fullest extent by being alert and diligent at all times.The overall security issues on the occasion of PSL cricket matches to be held at the National Stadium Karachi will be made foolproof and extraordinary in every sense.

Chairman PCB Zaka Ashraf expressed his complete satisfaction over the proposed contingency plans and priorities for PSL matches and expressed his gratitude to the IG Sindh and assured all possible support from him and the PSL management and officials.
