Iran Explosions 73 Dead

73 people were killed and more than 100 injured in 2 explosions near the tomb of former General Qassem Soleimani in the city of Kerman, Iran.
According to Iranian media, on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of former Iranian commander General Qassem Soleimani, two bags filled with explosives were placed at the entrance of the cemetery near his tomb.
Iranian media say that thousands of people were present in the tomb on the occasion of Qassem Soleimani’s anniversary, 73 people died and more than 171 were injured in the explosions.
According to Iranian media, the security authorities are investigating the situation.
On the other hand, the assistant governor of Kerman says that the explosions in Kerman are incidents of terrorism, the explosions were caused by the explosion of hand grenades. After the blasts, security has been put on high alert across the city.
It should be noted that Iranian commander Qassem Soleimani was martyred in an American drone attack in Iraq on January 3, 2020. Iranian commander Qassem Soleimani is buried in the same cemetery.
