Japanese welcomes to make halal more inclusive

Japanese entrepreneur Mizuho Kobayashi has expressed enthusiasm over the collaborative efforts between the Indonesian and Japanese governments to make halal products more inclusive. Kobayashi, the CEO of Lond by Ciel Sowal, a company with outlets in both Japan and Indonesia, highlighted the importance of halal certification beyond being a label or fulfilling religious rules. He sees it as a way to ensure health and quality standards, emphasizing the meeting of standards in the salon products he uses.
Kobayashi stated that the Islamic value of Rahmatan Lil ‘Alamin, emphasizing grace, love, and peace for all creatures in the universe, can be realized through concrete steps taken with halal certification. The collaboration between Indonesia and Japan in promoting halal products is expected to enhance quality assurance for consumers in both countries.
Sakura Tomomi Ijuin, the Head of the Sakuranesia Society Foundation, expressed enthusiasm about the appointment of Literacy Friends of the Indonesian Halal Industry (Saliha) and hopes to contribute to increasing inclusive halal product literacy in Japan. She sees the inclusivity of halal products as a key aspect and has purchased halal-certified shampoo products from Indonesia as references for Japan. The efforts aim to build awareness and demand for Indonesian halal products in Japan.
