The suspects who killed the 18-year-old during the robbery were arrested in the injured condition after a police encounter within 24 hours.

The accused had escaped after killing a youth named Adnan two days ago on January 3, 2024, during a protest near Hazara Chowk in Ittehad Town.

On the instructions of SSP Kaimari District Arif Aslam Rao, a team was formed to arrest the accused involved in the murder of the youth.

The team formed tracked the accused in a single day and conducted a raid to arrest the accused last night.

During the operation, the accused were chased near the Etihad Town Karbala Ground and when they tried to stop them, the accused opened fire at the police party, on which the police party bravely fought the accused and arrested both the accused in an injured condition.

The accused were identified as Zaghfran and Witness and two illegal pistols and a motorcycle were recovered from their possession.

The dignitaries of the area expressed happiness and thanked the Kaimari district police for immediately responding and arresting the accused involved in the murder of the young man.

Additional IG Karachi has announced the release of a certificate of appreciation and a cash reward for the police team.
