Karachi (Staff Reporter) Minister of Local Government, Housing Town Planning, Public Health Engineering and Rural Development Sindh Saeed Ghani has said that it is hoped that the fruits of the efforts made by the federal government will start coming in 6 to 7 months. If Hafiz Naeemur Rahman has won any seat and he has become a member of the assembly then he should come. He expressed these views while talking to the media after the announcement of the results of the Senate elections in the Sindh Assembly on Tuesday. Successful senators were also present with him on this occasion. Saeed Ghani said that today all the nominated senatorial candidates of the People’s Party got the votes they had to cast and they were successful. He said that 5 general seats, 2 technocrats, two women and 1 minority seat have won. Saeed Ghani said that it is not hidden from anyone that Faisal Vawda has been meeting our top leadership and he requested the vote from the party top leadership and has given it. We congratulate them as they live. In response to a question, he said that Faisal Vawda was in touch with the officials of our party who were watching this election last night and this morning as well. In response to another question, Saeed Ghani said that the increase in the prices of petroleum products depends on the price of oil in the world market. He said that even when this government was formed, it was said that the storm of inflation and the difficulties in people’s lives will not be reduced immediately, it will take some time, I hope. That the efforts that the federal government is making will start bearing fruit in 6 to 7 months and we are all trying to make the economy of the country better, the economic conditions should be better so that the country can get out of the economic crisis and the people are facing economic hardships. He said that the chairman of the recent Ursa was wrongly appointed, then the Sindh government, the Sindh chief minister and the Pakistan People’s Party raised their voices against it and as a result the federal government had to withdraw its decision. He said that as far as NFC is concerned, the People’s Party has always fought for provincial autonomy, for the rights of the province. He said that when we were in the federal government, we also gave the NFC award, provincial autonomy and God willing, the Pakistan People’s Party will play its full role in the future NFC award. In response to a question about Hafiz Naeemur Rahman, Saeed Ghani said that if Hafiz Naeemur Rahman has won a seat and he wants to become a member of the assembly, he should come. Then maybe they have been misunderstood, now they have been notified and it is hoped that in the next session of the Sindh Assembly, they will also take oath and those who will keep their good words and opinions in the House.
