Manghopir Town Water Issues Take Center Stage in High-Level Meeting
Manghopir Town Water Issues were the primary focus of an important and high-level meeting held between the Town Municipal Corporation Manghopir and senior officials of the Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC) to identify permanent and sustainable solutions for the town’s longstanding water problems.
The meeting was led by Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi, Chairman Manghopir Town, who held detailed discussions with Ahmed Ali Siddiqui, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of KW&SC, along with Asadullah Khan, Chief Operating Officer.
Manghopir Town Water Issues Highlighted by Town Leadership
During the meeting, Manghopir Town Water Issues were explained in detail by Chairman Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi, who highlighted severe water shortages, low pressure, dilapidated pipelines, and unfair water distribution, particularly in Union Council One and surrounding areas.
He stressed that water is a fundamental human necessity and that residents of Manghopir Town have been suffering for years due to irregular supply. He emphasized the urgent need for immediate and long-term solutions to restore normal life in the area.
Manghopir Town Water Issues Impact Daily Life
Chairman Brohi further stated that continuous public complaints are being received regarding the non-availability of water, severely affecting households, businesses, and daily routines. He demanded the installation of new pipelines, repair of old infrastructure, and improvement of the overall water distribution mechanism to provide lasting relief.
Manghopir Town Administration Pledges Full Cooperation
Municipal Commissioner Ahmed Yar and Union Council One Councillor Javed Brohi were also present at the meeting. They apprised KW&SC officials of on-ground realities and assured full administrative cooperation.
Municipal Commissioner Ahmed Yar stated that the town administration is fully prepared to coordinate at all levels to ensure timely completion of water-related development projects.
KW&SC Assures Resolution of Manghopir Town Water Issues
Responding to concerns, KW&SC MD Ahmed Ali Siddiqui and COO Asadullah Khan assured that Manghopir Town Water Issues are among their top priorities. They announced that technical teams would soon conduct a comprehensive survey to develop practical and long-term solutions.
They further stated that necessary measures would be initiated at the earliest to ensure improved water supply and infrastructure rehabilitation.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi thanked the KW&SC officials and expressed optimism that sincere cooperation would soon relieve residents from long-standing water hardships.
