Islamabad (NNP) Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met Australian High Commissioner Neil Hawkins, in which they discussed Pak-Australia relations and promotion of mutual cooperation in various fields.
The meeting also discussed increasing cooperation in coast guards, border management and prevention of human trafficking.
The Australian High Commissioner expressed his regret over the martyrdom of police officers and officers and soldiers of the forces in recent unfortunate incidents.
The Australian High Commissioner praised the beautiful restoration work of Gaddafi Stadium and said that under your leadership, the welfare and development projects of Islamabad are commendable and there has been a clear improvement in the city.
Neil Hawkins said that a memorable time has passed in Pakistan, Darbar Bibi Pak Daman in Lahore is my favorite place, in the present era, Pakistan’s international status and prestige have increased.
On this occasion, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that he believes in discouraging illegal immigration and promoting legal immigration. Such people will face strict legal action upon their return home. Elements involved in illegal human trafficking are being dealt with with an iron fist.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi appreciated the efforts of the Australian High Commissioner in promoting bilateral relations and expressed his best wishes for the future of Neil Hawkins.
Minister of State Talal Chaudhry, Federal Secretary Interior Khurram Agha and senior officials of the Australian High Commission were also present on the occasion.
