A decision will been taken to seize motorcycles without number plates after January 22.

Motorcycles that do not have the number plate displayed on the front and back will face a challan of Rs 520 for the next 8 days.

Traffic Police Karachi has warned the citizens riding motorcycles that after January 22 in the city, if there is no number plate on the front and back of the motorcycles, there will be no challan but the motorcycles will be confiscated.

In Karachi, the traffic police announced another campaign for motorcyclists who violate the law, under which motorcycles that do not display the number plate on the front and back will face a challan of Rs 520 for the next 8 days.

According to the decision, after 8 days, i.e. from January 22, if there is no number plate, the traffic police will seize the motorcycle and the motorcycle will not be returned until the number plate locker is installed.

It should be noted that many times in the past, the traffic police officials had also campaigned against motorcyclists who did not use helmets and thousands of challans were also issued, but despite such measures, citizens without helmets are still seen on the roads today.
