Nation Stands United with Armed Forces, Says Zubair Tufail
Karachi, Pakistan – President of the United Business Group (UBG) and former president of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Zubair Tufail, has stated that the entire Pakistani nation stands united alongside its armed forces and security institutions in the prevailing situation.
In a statement issued by UBG Central Spokesperson Gulzar Feroz, he emphasized that national unity remains the country’s greatest strength during times of external tension.
Operation “Ghazab-ul-Haq” Termed Timely and Decisive
Zubair Tufail described the recent tensions from the Afghan side as “unwise” and termed Operation “Ghazab-ul-Haq” a timely, courageous, and decisive step to safeguard Pakistan’s sovereignty, security, and national dignity.
He stated that Pakistan is a sovereign and self-respecting state, fully capable of defending its borders and national interests. According to him, any attempt to challenge Pakistan’s sovereignty will be met with a strong and befitting response.
Commitment to Peace with Strength
Tufail alleged that unprovoked aggression targeted civilian populations inside Pakistan, prompting the armed forces to respond effectively through Operation “Ghazab-ul-Haq,” achieving notable successes.
He maintained that while Pakistan desires peace, its commitment to peace should not be misconstrued as weakness. “The nation is united, dignified, and firmly stands with the Armed Forces of Pakistan for the protection of national security,” he added.
Armed Forces Remain Vigilant
Zubair Tufail further remarked that the Pakistan Army has consistently thwarted hostile designs and remains vigilant and prepared to defend the country’s borders. He asserted that any attempts by hostile elements to undermine Pakistan’s peace and stability will fail in the face of national unity and the professional capabilities of the armed forces.
