Pak Army strong response in Chaman sector forced the Afghan Taliban to request a ceasefire after intense retaliatory action by Pakistani forces.
According to security sources, the Pakistan Army carried out a strong and precise response in the Spin Boldak–Chaman sector, following recent acts of aggression by Afghan Taliban fighters. The Taliban later requested a ceasefire after facing significant losses.
Sources confirm that the Afghan Taliban circulated fabricated videos on social media, falsely claiming that Pakistan Army weapons had been seized. Officials clarified that these claims are baseless and misleading, aimed at spreading disinformation.
Security sources further stated that Pak Army continues to target Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij elements, destroying several posts, tanks, and personnel during the operation.
They added that the Pakistan Army remains fully prepared to deliver a befitting and stronger response to any future act of aggression from the Afghan side.
“Any hostile action will be met with a severe and greater-than-expected response,” sources emphasized.
