Pakistan Coast Guard’s action against smugglers

PCG (PR) six buses and other small vehicles of Al-Mahmood Bus Transport Company coming from Quetta to Karachi in the early morning were loaded with hides and contraband. It was stopped at the Kovathil Road check post. During the checking, Dad Guy misbehaved with the duty staff of the Coast Guards so that they could not check. At the same time, a bus driver forcibly took the bus to the road and Dadgai set the bus on fire with the help of the driver and Munshi Anamatullah. The Pakistan Coast Guard called the fire brigade and extinguished the fire, but Dad Gai fled the scene, but his Munshi has been detained and legal action has been initiated. It is pertinent to mention here that Dad Gai is a notorious smuggler of poppy husk, gutka and diesel and whenever his vehicles are checked, he is arrested. It uses similar tactics. The Pakistan Coast Guard strongly condemns all such illegal practices and is committed to prevent smuggling of any kind and will continue to play its role in strengthening the country’s economy by continuing its operations without coming under any pressure. It may be recalled that the said smuggler had done such an act at Nakkhari check post in 2022 as well.
