Pakistan Rangers Sindh operation against drug trafficking continues as part of the force’s efforts to curb the narcotics trade across provincial borders.
According to a statement issued by the Headquarters Pakistan Rangers (Sindh), acting on credible intelligence information, the Rangers arrested Muhammad Khan son of Dost Muhammad, Bashir Ahmed son of Abdul Samad, Kamran Ghulam son of Ghulam Jan, and Hussain Jan son of Siraj Ahmed, during an operation at the Hub Check Post located on the Karachi–Balochistan border.
During the operation, the force seized 10 kilograms of hashish, 2.1 kilograms of crystal, six mobile phones, and cash from the suspects.
Initial investigations revealed that the arrested individuals were transporting drugs from Balochistan to Karachi, concealing the narcotics in hidden compartments of passenger buses before distributing them across various areas of Karachi. The estimated market value of the seized drugs runs into millions of rupees.
The Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) reaffirmed their commitment to completely eradicating drug trafficking networks operating within and beyond Karachi.
The arrested suspects and the recovered contraband have been handed over to the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) for further legal proceedings.
