Pakistani Boxer Wins British Title

Karachi (PR) With the support of renowned Pakistani builder, Chairman of Gohar Group of Companies, former Senior Vice President of FPCCI, and former Chairman of ABAD, Muhammad Hanif Gohar, a young Pakistani boxer, Hamid Khan Swati, has won another accolade for the country by claiming the British boxing title. Hamid Khan Swati triumphed in the middleweight title fight held in Birmingham, UK, bringing international recognition to Pakistan.
Hamid Khan Swati stated that if the government sponsors him, he can win more titles for the country. The young boxer from Mansehra, Pakistan, achieved something that thousands of aspiring boxers dream of: he won a title that is coveted by youth involved in boxing worldwide. Despite limited resources, Hamid Khan, a resident of Dhodial in Mansehra, managed to secure the title, a feat many can only aspire to.
He was eager to participate in the British boxing tournament, but his father, being poor, could not afford the tournament fees. However, Hanif Gohar, Chairman of Gohar Group of Companies, provided all the necessary financial support, enabling Hamid Khan to travel to the UK, participate in the British title fight, and ultimately win the tournament by defeating Harrison Grant in the final to claim the British title.
After winning the British title, Hamid Khan remarked that it wasn’t an easy achievement, but if the government provides resources, he would dedicate himself entirely to raising Pakistan’s name on the world stage. Commenting on Hamid Khan’s victory, Hanif Gohar expressed his immense happiness, stating that the young man he supported not only made the nation proud but also won a significant title. Gohar urged the government to provide consistent support to young athletes so that their passion for victory continues to grow, enabling them to win major titles for the country.
