Pre-Election Economic Policy Proposal

Karachi President of United Business Group(UBG) and former president of FPCCI Mr. Zubair Tufail has asked all the political parties participating in the general elections of February 8 in Pakistan to announce their economic policies for the next 5 years before the elections.
Zubair Tufail said that due to the high electricity bills, the current inflation has crushed the poor people. Millions of children are out of school which is a dangerous sign for the future of the country.
He said that any clear policy for health and education is disappointing for poor families, unfortunately many suicides are due to economic pressure or unemployment. Events are reported.
Zubair Tafel said major political parties should announce their plans for economic recovery and job creation as well as a 25 percent increase in agricultural production in the next 2 years, reducing energy prices and smuggling from neighboring countries. Stopping it is in the best interest of the country’s industries and economy. He said that the caretaker government’s policies are commendable/appreciated and these policies have improved the country’s economic situation to some extent.
The government coming into existence after February 8 will also have to improve the economic conditions of Pakistan through positive policies.
