Karachi (Staff Reporter) A meeting of the Departmental Promotion Committee One of Karachi Development Authority (KDA) was held under the chairmanship of Local Government Minister, Housing Town Planning and Public Health Engineering, Housing Town Planning and Rural Development Sindh Saeed Ghani۔ DG KDA Syed Shujaat Hussain, Member Technical and Chief Engineer Tariq Rafi, Member Finance Waril Andar and others were present in the meeting۔ In the meeting, it was approved to promote Deputy Director Finance BPS 18’s Kashif Siddiqui to Director Finance and Account KDA in Grade 19 and Moinuddin Athar Kazmi Deputy Secretary of Grade 18 to Secretary KDA in Grade 19۔ On this occasion, Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani issued instructions to DG KDA to include the working papers of promotion of both of them in the minutes and send them۔ He said that the promotion of employees is their right and we should try to make all such employees who are promoted according to the law and sent to the next level۔ On this occasion, DG KDA Shujaat Hussain said that the employees of any institution are like the backbone of this institution۔ He said that the protection of the rights of the employees is the responsibility of the head of the institution and I try my best to use all measures to get the employees of the institution their legitimate rights۔ Later, Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani distributed recruitment letters to the families of 14 employees of Foti Kota۔ DG KDA Syed Shujaat Hussain, Tariq Rafi, KDA Labor Union Patron Ali Muhammad Ashraf and others were also present with him on this occasion۔
