PSX stays bullish,KARACHI

The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a bullish trend, as the 100-index gained 398.81 points, marking a positive change of 0.64 percent.
The market closed at 62,451.04 points compared to the previous trading day’s closing at 62,052.24 points. A total of 590,592,624 shares, valued at Rs.16.844 billion, were traded during the day, in contrast to the previous day’s 676,243,466 shares, valued at Rs.20.278 billion. Among the 359 companies trading their shares, 207 recorded gains, 130 sustained losses, and 22 remained unchanged.
K-Electric Ltd, Fauji Foods, and Worldcall Telecom were the top three trading companies by volume. Nestle Pakistan experienced the highest increase in share price, gaining Rs.203.00 and closing at Rs.8,203.00 per share, followed by Rafhan Maize with a rise of Rs.198.00 to reach Rs.9,998.00 per share.
