SHO Liaquatabad Reaffirms Commitment to Crime-Free Karachi

SHO Liaquatabad Shakir Hussain has pledged zero tolerance against criminal activities in Karachi’s Liaquatabad area, vowing to continue strict action against drug dealers and organized crime.
In an exclusive interview with National News, SHO Liaquatabad stated that he joined the Sindh Police in 1992 and has since served across various key police stations, including District East, Malir, Kemari, South, Central, Memon Goth, Steel Town, PIB, Saeedabad, Nabi Bakhsh, and Liaquatabad Police Stations.
He credited his professional journey to hard work and honesty, saying, “Thank God, I am performing the duties of SHO today with dedication and integrity.”
Major Achievements and Case Resolutions
During his service, SHO Liaquatabad Shakir Hussain has successfully solved numerous criminal cases, including a high-profile child kidnapping and murder case, in which a 6-year-old girl was abducted, assaulted, and killed by her neighbor.
“Within a week, we identified, arrested, and punished the accused,” he said, reaffirming the Sindh Police’s efficiency and commitment to justice.
He emphasized that street crime incidents have decreased significantly, citing improved police visibility and round-the-clock patrols.
“We are present 24 hours a day. I myself am on patrol in the area. Our patrolling police are always alert and active,” he noted.

Strict Action Against Drug Dealers and Organized Crime
Calling drug dealers the scourge of society, SHO Liaquatabad vowed that such criminals will face no forgiveness or leniency.
“My message to organized crime networks is clear — leave the area or face imprisonment. Liaquatabad will not be a safe haven for criminals,” he warned.
He also reiterated the importance of community-police collaboration, urging citizens to report suspicious activities and support law enforcement efforts.
Public Cooperation and Community Policing
SHO Liaquatabad Shakir Hussain described Liaquatabad as a densely populated area with residents from all walks of life. He said, “The work of the police is to serve the people. If you cooperate with us fully, God willing, you will not be disappointed.”
He also acknowledged the vital role of journalists in supporting the fight against crime, stating, “Journalist brothers play a big role in eliminating crimes and help us a lot.”
