Sindh EV Charging Stations Project Formally Approved by Sindh Government
Sindh EV Charging Stations have received official approval from the Sindh Government, marking a key milestone in the province’s move toward clean energy, smart transport, and sustainable infrastructure.
The proposal, submitted by China’s ADM Group, includes the establishment of over 600 EV charging stations across Sindh to support the rapid growth of electric mobility.
Meeting Chaired by Minister Nasir Hussain Shah
The approval came during a meeting chaired by Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Provincial Minister for Local Government and Energy, and attended by Malik Khuda Bakhsh, Chairman & CEO of Malik Group of Companies, and Naeem Qureshi.
During the session, Malik Khuda Bakhsh presented the strategic partnership proposal for setting up a province wide EV charging infrastructure.
Minister Nasir Hussain Shah immediately approved the initiative and directed that it be forwarded to the Special Secretary (Local Government & HTP Department) for site identification and swift implementation.
“Sindh is ready to embrace the electric future through innovation and sustainability,” said the minister.
Operational Framework and Next Steps
The Minister invited Yasir Bhambhani, CEO of ADM Group, to attend a follow up meeting in early December to finalize the project’s operational framework and deployment roadmap.
The Sindh Local Government Department will provide technical and administrative support, ensuring adherence to international standards and environmental goals.
600 EV Charging Stations Across Sindh
Under the plan, more than 600 EV charging stations will be installed in major cities and along key highways, offering convenience to commuters and encouraging adoption of eco-friendly vehicles.
“This initiative is not just about infrastructure it’s about transforming lifestyles and reducing emissions,” said Malik Khuda Bakhsh.
He added that the collaboration between ADM Group, Malik Group, and the Sindh Government will set a new benchmark for green technology and public private cooperation in Pakistan.

Minister Nasir Hussain Shah reaffirmed that the Sindh EV Charging Stations project aligns with the province’s climate friendly agenda, helping:
- Lower reliance on fossil fuels
- Cut carbon emissions
- Create jobs in clean technology sectors
- Support the national electric vehicle policy
“This project symbolizes Sindh’s commitment to innovation, environment, and future ready infrastructure,” the minister concluded.
