Sindh Health Department Dengue Cases Report — 175 New Infections Recorded Across Sindh
KARACHI (NNP) —
The Sindh Health Department dengue cases report revealed a total of 175 new cases confirmed across the province in October 2025, with Karachi recording the highest number.
According to the official statement, 85 cases were reported in Karachi, 48 in Hyderabad, 37 in Mirpurkhas, and 5 in Sukkur.
Since the beginning of the year 2025, the total number of confirmed dengue cases has reached 819 across Sindh.
The Sindh Government has intensified its anti-dengue campaign to control the spread of the mosquito-borne virus.
Dr. Azra Pechuho: Daily Monitoring and Prevention
Sindh Health Minister Dr. Azra Pechuho stated that spraying and fogging activities are being carried out daily across all divisions, including Karachi, Hyderabad, and Mirpurkhas.
She emphasized that hospitals have been directed to ensure proper facilities for dengue patients, and health teams are monitoring cases on a daily basis.
“Dengue is a preventable disease. Citizens must ensure that no water accumulates in or around their homes,” said Dr. Pechuho.
“With public cooperation, the epidemic can be effectively controlled.”
