Lahore (PR): A public convention was organized under the aegis of Tanzeem-e-Islami titled “Sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Our Responsibility”.

The Ameer of Tanzeem-e-Islami, Shujauddin Shiakh, said that the purpose of the 11-day “Sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Our Responsibility” campaign of Tanzeem-e-Islami is to spread awareness among the masses and to keep the Palestine issue relevant.

This is not the duty of a singular organization or Muslim country, rather the responsibility of the entire Muslim Ummah. Those who are being martyred in Palestine are undoubtedly alive, whereas, a large portion of the Ummah has essentially become as though dead. The undeniable reality is that the Mujahideen of Hamas are currently fighting a war for the protection of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the survival of the Muslim Ummah against oppressive forces.

The paramount work of propagation and consequent establishment of the Deen is impossible without spiritual conditioning, and this characteristic can be readily observed in the Mujahideen of Hamas.

On the one hand, the Israeli public is criticizing Netanyahu, while on the other, the people of Gaza are backing the Mujahideen of Hamas even in the face of the calamities which befell them as a result of Hamas’ “Al-Aqsa Storm” operation of October 7th, which is evidence of Allah’s (SWT) help. Ismail Haniyeh has said that if Pakistan responds, Israel will have to commit to a ceasefire.

The aggressors in Israel are fully aware that Pakistan is their most imposing enemy, while the focus of Palestinians’ hopes is also set on Pakistan.

He questioned that are the civilian and military leaderships of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan not aware of the fact that immediately after its creation, Pakistan’s policy regarding Israel was clearly determined on fundamentally religious grounds in light of the statements of Quaid-e-Azam. According to that policy, entertaining the idea of a two-state solution is equivalent to recognizing the illegitimate Zionist state and rebellion against Allah (SWT).

Imposition of permanent boycott of products from companies which facilitate Israel must be continued. He said that in reality, the steadfastness of the Muslims of Gaza is a result of their grounded faith and trust in Allah (SWT).

Political and military leaders of Muslim countries must militarily assist Palestinian Muslims alongside diplomatic, political and economic support. This is an inevitable consequence of our honor based on faith.

Addressing the audience, the Naib Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami, Dr. Miraj-ul-Huda Siddiqui, said that through the “Sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Our Responsibility” campaign, Tanzeem-e-Islami is spreading awareness and a sense of responsibility among the masses. The people of Gaza are giving a clear message declaring that the enemy might possess material force, but the help of Allah (SWT) is with us.

The Mujahideen of Hamas have displayed the essence of Islamic Jihad not only on the military plane, but also in the moral field through their humane treatment of prisoners.

Such statements from those who were detained by Hamas have surfaced in which they say that they felt safe in their imprisonment and were actually more afraid of Israel’s merciless bombing.

Member of the Council of Islamic Ideology, Dr. Umair Mehmood Siddiqui, said that our present state of helplessness is due to the fact that we have fallen prey to Wahn.

Presently, there exist more than 2 billion Muslims worldwide, but are unable to do anything more than lip service.

It is highly unfortunate that our leaders propose a two-state solution to the Palestine issue, whereas Al-Quds and the AlAqsa Mosque are destined to be mortmain to Muslims till the Day of Judgement and cannot be divided by anyone. The Palestine issue is a matter pertaining to the entire Muslim Ummah.

Addressing the audience, the Director of Foreign Affairs of Jamaat-e-Islami, Asif Luqman Qazi, said that on October 7th, the Mujahideen of Hamas coined new history with their noble blood.

The world has been divided in two after the events of October 7th. The ugly face of the western world’s claims to be champions of unparalleled human rights has been unveiled. The importance of an Islamic system of governance and the need for struggle towards it has been laid bare for us; now we must ready ourselves for this very cause.

Constant bombing is being carried out in Gaza, trampling all international standards of human rights, while the leadership and powerful classes of the Muslim Ummah remain silent spectators. The senior representative of Hamas and spokesperson of Hamas in Western Asia and Pakistan, Dr. Khalid Qadomi, in his speech, said that Israel has no claim whatsoever to even a single speck of grain in Palestine.

We must remember this fact ourselves and remind others of it. The “Al-Aqsa Storm” operation is a direct result of Israel’s 75 years of oppression. What little shift can be seen in the tune of the leaders of the western world is only in response to public pressure, otherwise, they do not care a fig leaf for our women and children being martyred.

The reality is that even before 7 October, 2023, Israeli persecution of Palestinian Muslims was rampant and the whole world shamelessly chose to remain silent spectators, moreover, some key Muslim countries were even advancing towards normalizing relations with Israel.

The solution to the Palestine issue can and will only be decided by those who dwell in Palestine. Soon, we will offer prayer of triumph in Al-Aqsa Mosque with our Palestinian brothers. In Sha Allah!

Member of the Council of Islamic Ideology and Naib Muhtehim of Jamiah Al-Suffah, Mufti Muhammad Zubair, said that this convention organized by Tanzeem-e-Islami will play an important role in the Muslim Ummah’s renaissance.

The Al-Aqsa Mosque is a headquarters for the Muslim Ummah, and one of those blessed destinations towards which travel is a source of good deeds. It is of utmost importance that the history of Al-Aqsa be included in elementary syllabi and taught to the coming generations.

Westerners blatantly advocate animal rights, but shed no tears for the corpses of innocent children in Gaza.

The leadership of Pakistan is demanded to remain firm on the policy of Quaid-e-Azam regarding Israel.
