In a recent operation near the Malaship-2 (MS-2) area of Pasni, Balochistan, the Pakistan Coast Guard displayed exemplary vigilance and efficiency, leading to the successful recovery of a substantial quantity of narcotics. Acting swiftly on a tip-off regarding drug smuggling activities, the Coast Guard intercepted and seized 852 kilograms of high-quality charas.

The operation, conducted by a patrol team in the MS-2 area of Pasni, uncovered a sophisticated smuggling network. It was revealed that marijuana was being loaded onto camels destined for transportation abroad via launch and speed boats. The swift action taken by the Coast Guard not only prevented the illicit drug trade but also dismantled a significant part of the smuggling infrastructure.

Following the seizure, legal proceedings have been initiated, leading to the confiscation of 12 camels, as well as launches and speedboats involved in the smuggling operation. The seized narcotics, valued at approximately $14.21 million in the global market, represent a major blow to drug trafficking networks operating in the region.

The Director General of the Pakistan Coast Guard commended the exemplary performance of the jawans involved in the operation. Their dedication and professionalism were instrumental in disrupting criminal activities and upholding the rule of law.
