Manghopir Chairman Reviews Development Projects in Umar Mengal Goth

Manghopir Chairman Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi visited Union Council No. 2, Umar Mengal Goth, to inspect the progress of ongoing public development projects aimed at improving civic infrastructure. During the visit, he reviewed construction work related to a modern sewerage system, road development, and the installation of paver blocks, while emphasizing quality, transparency, and timely completion.

The inspection was conducted as part of the Town Municipal Corporation (TMC) Manghopir’s efforts to monitor public welfare initiatives and ensure development projects meet the required technical standards.

Manghopir Chairman Reviews Ongoing Development Projects

During the visit, Manghopir Chairman Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi carried out a detailed inspection of the ongoing infrastructure projects in Umar Mengal Goth. He assessed the pace of construction and examined the technical quality of the work being undertaken.

The Chairman directed officials to ensure that all development activities are completed efficiently while maintaining high construction standards.

Transparency and Quality Emphasized

Addressing the engineering team, the Chairman instructed Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) Afaq Alam and Sub-Engineer Junaid Siddiqui to uphold transparency and maintain quality in every stage of the projects.

He stated that the residents of Umar Mengal Goth have faced inadequate civic facilities for many years and stressed that negligence, the use of substandard materials, or technical shortcomings would not be tolerated. He also ordered officials to further optimize the project schedule and accelerate the pace of work.

Officials Brief Chairman on Project Progress

During the inspection, officials provided a comprehensive briefing on the technical aspects of the ongoing projects, including construction phases and the long-term sustainability of the drainage system.

Transgender member Sajjad Hussain and Shakoor Mengal also accompanied the Manghopir Chairman during the visit.

Speaking on the occasion, Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi said that providing modern civic facilities and developing every street of Manghopir remains a key priority. He added that public funds are being utilized for development projects that directly benefit local communities.

Residents Welcome Development Efforts

Local elders and a large number of residents of Umar Mengal Goth welcomed the Chairman and expressed satisfaction with the progress of development work in the area.

Residents said the current administration has initiated an extensive network of development projects that they believe will improve infrastructure and help address long-standing civic issues faced by the community.

Chairman Orders Continuous Monitoring

Concluding the visit, the Manghopir Chairman instructed the concerned staff to remain present at project sites to supervise construction activities and immediately resolve any technical issues.

He reaffirmed that he would continue personally monitoring the projects until their completion to ensure citizens receive reliable and sustainable public facilities. The Chairman also stated that public service remains the central focus of his leadership and that improving the quality of life for residents will continue to be a priority.
