Imran Ghaznavi brings more than two decades of professional experience spanning both the public and private sectors.
He holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mass Communication and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing, both earned with distinction. He has also completed specialized professional training in the United States.
His academic and professional background has equipped him with expertise in strategic communication, media management, public relations, and stakeholder engagement.
Career Includes Leadership Roles in Major Institutions
Throughout his career, Imran Ghaznavi has held senior positions at several prominent public-sector institutions.
His professional experience includes roles at Pakistan International Airlines, Federal Board of Revenue, Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, Competition Commission of Pakistan, and the Planning Commission of Pakistan.
He has also worked with leading media organizations, further strengthening his expertise in communication and public engagement.
Previous Role at OGRA
Before joining the Privatisation Commission, Imran Ghaznavi served at the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority as Spokesperson and Senior Executive Director of Corporate and Media Affairs.
In that role, he was responsible for managing corporate communications, media relations, and public information initiatives for the regulatory authority.
His experience in handling strategic communications at major national institutions is expected to support the Privatisation Commission’s efforts to effectively communicate its policies, objectives, and reform initiatives.
